Good Morniiiiinnnggggg.... let's see what do we have today..? aaaah new menu! Nuggets ^o^ yesterday i spent a night with my uncles' family. and one of my aunts bought a pack of chicken nuggets (500 gr), and it cost only Rp15000. just then i had in mind, let's say it contains 20 pcs, then it will cost 1500 per 2 pcs. well, it's actually more than 20 pcs though (around 30 or 40 i guess). ok, that's cheap enough. now let's cook some.
i take you back to my first months here in Jakarta.. at the very first few months, i've been a very very accountable person (let's say.. saving). i've always counted every detail outcomes. every day i bought perkedel for lunch, which only cost Rp1000 :D lol.. as the days gone by.. when everything became more expensive, the size of perkedel is getting smaller but still with the same price. then i changed to another menu, telur dadar (omelet) which cost Rp2000 :D lol.. can you imagine, the same meals for daily routines? ok then the price of telur dadar was increased become Rp2500 and got smaller size. i then found another dish that exactly has the same price with telur dadar. a sarden (sardine). i thought that it contains more protein (but i dunno). every day i brought sarden for lunch, and my colleagues was like called me "Fafa Sarden" or something -_-' when i thought that the price of sarden is getting more irrational, i switched to vegetables (thats one of my reason to become a vegetarian only at lunch). sayur only cost Rp2000 but after a week i was getting bored. could be because of the taste or less variation. i just cant understand how can a person survived in becoming a vegetarian for 30 years and goes on!?!?!?!
and today it seems like i've found another menu :D so, welcome nuggets hehehe.. cooked only in a rice cooker (i called it my multi functional rice cooker) cos i'm too lazy to go down to the kitchen. at first i have no idea on how i will cook this nuggets, whether i 'fried' it with butter or oil, or i chopped into small pieces.. then here's what i do.. just cooked it in a rice cooker, without oil. good smell though.. and i think i smell something's burnt now!
